Honors Award

Last night Charlie received a certificate for attaining Honors at San Antonio College. He has a GPA of 3.5. Yeah Charlie.  It’s taken a lot of hard work writing, researching, reading, tons of homework and a whole bunch of wonderful professors to get him to this point. Congratulation Charlie you deserve it!

In addition to having awards ceremonies to attend we have scheduled our first Fundraiser to go towards Charlie’s Kidney Transplant. While we are waiting on the kidney we are trying to raise the $50,000 that we will have to have for our part of the surgery.  Here are the Details:

What:  Spaghetti Dinner, When: Sunday, December 8th. Where: Oak ridge Baptist Church, 10915 Hueber, San Antonio.  Start Time: 12:30pm. Menu: Spaghetti (with or without Meatballs), Salad, Garlic Bread, Dessert and Choice of Iced Tea, Coffee or Lemonade.  Cost: $500 per person or $12.00 per family.  You can purchase tickets from Sherrie Shivley, contact her at (210)859-8085.  OR you can pay online at http://bit.ly/SpaghettidinnerCharlie    If you can’t make it and you would like to make a donation you can also do that online or via Sherrie. Hope to see some of you there.  This it the first fundraiser and we are hoping it will be a success. All donations are tax deductible.

If you have any questions please call Sherrie for information.

If anyone has another Fundraiser Idea or would like to sponsor a fundraiser please let me know and I will connect you with the organization that we are working with that approves the fundraisers and makes sure that they meet IRS guidelines.

Thanks to all of you.  Have a blessed eveining!
